Blissful was an early painting in this series, and as the name suggests, I find it full of bliss, even though there are reds and oranges. It has to do with the transitions from one colour to the next.

The effect is much like looking through pebbled glass. I find this series interesting in the reward that observation creates. I find that I start following the transitions and get really drawn into the composition.
