This new series of oil paintings is a return to previous interests in colour and balanced composition.

The overlapping of colours, new to me, requires caressing or tickling wrist movement rather than expressionistic slashes. The wrist movements are the same as in the black and white painting on the homepage (Ecriture and Rapture). A constant is the spirit cloud. Also, the X, Y, and Z remind the viewer that we live in a 3d world. I recommend gazing at these works. When I view them, I find them calm and compelling. Enjoy!
