Stairway To The Heavens IV
This sculpture in 150 year old pine and soapstone was completed in August 2017. The inspiration came from the recurring childhood dream of standing at the base of a very tall staircase surrounded by the heavens, stars everywhere. It was a sublime envisioning. I recalled it when I moved to my new home in Niagara, viewing the night sky.
