Safe at Home I
This multimedia painting, acrylic, wood , canvas and oil stick was completed in 2016.
This painting came about when I realized that in this wonderful place that I now live and work, I feel very safe.
I realized that I never thought about it in Toronto, but when I was a kid I did not feel safe at home.
There is the obvious play on baseball, but the second meaning is equally important to me.
Safe at home is something every man woman and child should feel.
