All Eyes Were On The Dancer

All Eyes Were On The Dancer, welded steel sculpture started with a handmade pair of scissors and some strands of very heavy cable. The trigger of inspiration is elusive at the best of times. Sometimes the pieces fall in place, sometimes one small thing can be a hang up. The squarish piece of perforated steel serves as the eyes upon the scissor top/dancer down to the hinge/hips leading to the flowing legs. The paint is like a bronze patina.

All Eyes Were On The Dancer, 49″ x 8′ x 6″, 2018      $1800.
